Yup! ... Do a search for Google ...using any engine ... once you get
the Google search bar ... bookmark that page ... once bookmarked ...
move the bookmark to where it will drop down and hit you in the face
when you click on bookmarks.
Just installed 7.2 - and I dont appear to have more than the ' Use Netscape'
as a search engine in the Navigator>INternet Search options. I prefer Google -
any way of adding this???? to the drop down list box of.... 1 !!
:-(
I too am having an issue with 7.2
Just Installed it this evening and there is no way I can figure out
how to have the Google search engine in the left side bar. The help
area of Netscape says to be in the advanced search mode in the
preferences. The only one that shows up is Netscape. I don't want a
bookmark. (mine are a mile long) I want it in my sidebar. 7.1 had it
there. 7.2 does not...

Any Ideas from anyone?

The Google Bar will not show up in the Sidebar. If you want to add more
search engines, then try is out http://mycroft.mozdev.org/

Absolutely no point in cross-posting this to
netscape.public.mozilla.seamonkey. Follow-up set back to the original
location of this thread, alt.netscape. I know Google Groups does not
know how to handle follow-up headers, so just post your reply in
alt.netscape only.

Go to http://mycroft.mozdev.org/quick/google.html .

Scroll down to the general section (#4), and click on the second engine.
That is:
# Google (google.com) by Netscape, ***@google.com [last updated:
